Create weclapp's public link to a quotation that your customer can open without signing in.

## What you can do

weclapp can provide a public web page for a quotation. Your customer opens it through a link, without a weclapp account. Your AI assistant creates this link after your approval and gives it to you. Sharing it is up to you: neither the assistant nor weclapp sends anything in the process.

## Create the link

1. Use an [identity check](https://ai.wals.pro/help/first-questions) to confirm you are working in the right system.
2. Ask for the link, for example: **“Create the public link for quotation 2024-0815. Show me the preview first.”**
3. Check the quotation number and customer in the preview.
4. Approve the change. The assistant then reads the quotation again and gives you the stored link.
5. Open the link yourself and check the quotation before you share it.

If the quotation already has a link, the assistant gives it to you without a preview and without changing anything.

## Create a new link

If an existing link should no longer apply, you can explicitly request a new one: **“Create a new public link for quotation 2024-0815.”** The preview points out that the previous link may stop working afterwards. The assistant never replaces an existing link unless you explicitly ask.

## Good to know

- A quotation that is still being entered gets no link. Complete the entry first, for example by having the quotation PDF created.
- The link does not change the status of the quotation.
- Sending the quotation by email from weclapp is not possible through the assistant. Share the link yourself or send the quotation directly in weclapp.
- You cannot remove a link through the assistant.
- The assistant only shows links that lead to your own weclapp system.

Anyone whose role allows it can create the link, for example with the Sales template. The weclapp user behind your API key needs the matching quotation permission in weclapp. See [team and permissions](https://ai.wals.pro/help/team) and [Review a preview and approve a change](https://ai.wals.pro/help/approvals).
